Thursday, August 6: Midnight Hour Band at Nissi’s. The full 13-piece Motown/Funk/Disco/Rock machine rolls into Lafayette. Doors 6:30, show 7:30, 21+, free admission (first come first served, so don’t dawdle). Nissi’s Entertainment Venue & Event Center, 1455 Coal Creek Dr Unit T, Lafayette, CO.
Friday, August 7: Stevie Rave On and Second Coming at The Armory (Brighton). This one’s a doozy: SRO opens with a full SRV-powered set of Texas Heat, then El Loco Fandango takes over with their ZZ Top tribute. Two of Texas’s finest exports, one stage, one night – the Twin Tejas Tribute TwoStep. Attendance mandatory for all fans of: 80s, energy, blues, rock, guitar, and/or bar-b-q! Doors 6:30, show 7:00-10:00, $16 GA. The Armory Performing Arts Center, 300 Strong St, Brighton, CO.
